Egotastic is a popular celebrity gossip and news weblog with the latest and greatest coverage of our female celebrities. It differentiates itself from other celebrity blogs by focusing more on female celebrities in their skimpy bikinis, cleavage baring outfits, and in fashion faux pas situations. Some of the fashion faux pas situations involve forgetting to wear undergarments, clothing “accidentally” slipping off, and other embarrassing mishaps. There’s a lot of celebrities covered and they are pretty much all female. Its a popular site that’s been running for 2 years with a 175 million visits so far.

Its a celebrity gossip site with a headline view layout. I like the clean layout which gives you a short caption and a big picture. You can quickly scan for what you are interested in and select the one you want to read without having to slog through a bunch of postings. They are also pretty prolific with their postings on celebrity news so there’s plenty to keep you entertained.

Celebrity Gossip is another celebrity news and gossip site. It is an aggregator that pulls celebrity news from various celebrity blogs and sites. According to their banner, the site is updated every 5 minutes. Here are some features on the site:

• If you click on their celebrity tab, it pretty much covers every celebrity from A-Z.
• Each day there’s a list of the celebrities who celebrate their birthday on that date
• There’s a section which only lists the photos of the celebrities
• Lists of the most talked about celebrities and viewed photos

This site is owned by First Beat Media and its worth a look.

If you are looking for a spoiler to a movie, this is your site. The site contains spoilers for pretty much all the movies currently playing in the theaters. It has an archive of movie spoilers for movies released up to a few years back. The spoilers are usually detailed so if you saw a movie and were confused by parts of it, the spoiler usually helps resolve the confusion. The spoilers can be sent in by anyone. The owner of the site will select and post the best spoiler. My only compliant about the site is the ads are a bit overwhelming but this is the best site to get your spoilers.

Apparently, being on the D-List hasn’t affected the success of this site. Its a celebrity gossip news site that provides biting humor and a few curse words thrown in for good measure. Dlisted covers a big list of celebrities and it runs a caption contest every few days. The caption contest pictures range from the wild, painful, pathetic, and humorous. The author is also very active and prolific with the posting of news and you can usually find new postings on the weekend.

Celebrity Gossip: Popsugar

Its full of sugar and so bad for you but you got to have your daily fix of celebrity news and gossip. The site is a subsidiary of Sugar Publishing which maintains a portfolio of sites that usually end in sugar which covers topics from fashion, tech, humor, food, entertainment, and a lot more. Each of the postings usually have fairly large high quality pictures of celebrities; some appealing, some boring and some in compromising situations.

Its also pretty comprehensive with their coverage of celebrities, there’s a section on the right pane on the celebrity tabs that will list all the celebrities (A-Z) with postings. It looks like the letters X and Y are missing celebrities names. I was pretty amazed by the list and there were so many that I didn’t even recognize some of them.
It might not be a one man show with a fascinating person at the helm like Perez Hilton but its nevertheless as fun as a soda pop full of sugar.

This blog isn’t just all about celebrity news and gossip. Its more of a self-indulgent read on celebrity news, fashion, and sex. Its fairly humorous with its sarcastic and biting humor. There’s a group of contributors to the site which keeps the subject matter and commentary diverse such as their question of the day on what’s your favorite automotive legend. Now what that has to do with celebrities, sex, or fashion? It might in some twisted way but I don’t want to know.
It also makes interesting social stabs on the state of our pop culture and expectations on women such as the discussion of Faith Hill’s photoshopped magazine cover in Redbook which had about 115,000 google hits.

Although TMZ does not have the personal homey feel as some of the other celebrity blogging sites as it is owned by AOL, its pretty up to date with the latest celebrity happenings. You sometimes find celebrity news that you would not get elsewhere and hilarious videos of B-celebs not getting into the latest Hollywood club. I guess I shouldn’t be laughing at those videos but I do.

This is a popular celebrity gossip site, where Perez Hilton the Queen of all media offers his commentary on the latest celebrity news. Its definitely not from concentrate but from the real stuff.

One of Perez Hilton’s trademarks is in each of his postings, he usually puts a remark that is written in white on the picture of the celebrity. He was featured on Nightline, in the news program they discussed his inside connection to the celebrity news circle. According to Nightline, his site was the first one to get wind on the breakup of Britney Spears relationship to Kevin Federline. Paris Hilton is also one of his good friends. He’s a real colorful guy but he does a great service to our celebrity obsessed society.

How can you not love JustJared? The guy (I am assuming based on the myspace page) is just obsessed with celebrity news. Its a site that keeps current with the latest celebrity gossip and its updated pretty much 7 days of the week.

Its where a lot of folks get their Brangelina fix for the day. Trust me, if you want the latest news on this celebrity super couple, this is one of the sites you got to hit. Each posting usually has more photographs than other celebrity sites so in the event you want to analyze the latest picture of Britney Spears’s cellulite legs from several different angles, there are usually multiple photos for you to look to your heart’s content. Finally, we get pictures that has not been retouched by Photoshop, we want to see the cellulite Britney.

Its a celebrity gossip site with the snarky humor. It may not have as many celebrity gossip postings as some of the other celebrity gossip sites but you will get a few laughs out of it. The site does not usually have new postings during the weekend but during the week there are plenty humorous jabs on the latest celebrity antics.
